Please join us tonight from 4-6pm to view the wonderful art our children have been creating this year. Refreshments will be served in the art room and mug/bowl painting will take place in the cafeteria. ($10 per piece). Everyone welcome. This is a great opportunity to share with our community what the Studio School is all about! Thanks to Ms. Lisa and Ms. Christie  for making this happen!

We invite you, your family, friends, and neighbors to dress in 50′s-inspired costumes and join us for the Sock Hop on Friday, March 16th from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Studio School. Admission is $5 per person (over age 5) with a maximum family admission of $25.  Food will also be available for purchase at the dance from 6:30-7:30 (limited quantities available).  Students who come in costume will receive a raffle ticket and at the end of the night we will pick one raffle ticket from each grade level for a prize.  We will also give prizes to the 2 teachers who have the highest number of students in attendance. Bring your Hula Hoop for the Hula Hoop Contest.  Don’t forget to label it with your first and last name.

Thank you to those who have volunteered to help us, and we still need more people who can help with: set-up (5:30-6:30), manning the admission and raffle ticket tables (6:30-7), manning food tables (6:30-7:30), selling popcorn outside the theater (7-7:45 and 7:45-8:30), helping Sue Beckerman taking photos (6:30-7:30), clean-up (8:30-9).  Please email Suzanne Halsey at suzanne.halsey@hotmail.com.

The Studio School has been awarded a design grant to revamp the school playground along with four other local schools.

Focus groups met for the ActiveSchool Yards Active Minds Project to review the proposed design options of the playground and discuss initial issues and concerns. Now we need your input as Studio Families to weigh in with your ideas and preferences. Please join us February 7th from 5:30-6:15pm to discuss thoughts on new equipment, restructuring, layout and functionality of our outdoor play space. We want the playground to fulfill the needs of active bodies and imaginations!
