Hello families of young Studio School Chefs!

Thank you for signing up your child for our Sticky Fingers Cooking after school enrichment classes at Studio School.

We are so excited to be teaching our cooking classes again at your school this WINTER 2013 – A BIG ‘hello’ to all of our new and returning chefs! We are thrilled to have your young chef (chefs) join us at our table today and every Monday afternoon for the next 8 classes after school in the art room!

Mondays 2:30-3:30 in the Art Room

We do still have a few spots open in this class! To sign up:

Your child’s main instructors at The Studio School will be the favorite of ALL Sticky Fingers Instructors: Chef Selena! Woo Hoo!!Our wonderful chef instructor, Chef Selena will be leading the Studio School Chefs this winter. Selena Gabriel Dunn is a proud new mom and a former catering sous chef with a prestigious Denver catering company. She has a background nutrition and in teaching after school children programs for elementary school kids. All of Selena’s experiences has lead her to use her passion for cooking and nutrition with her love of teaching kids at all of her Sticky Fingers Cooking events.

Chef Selena is looking forward to meeting, cooking, having fun and eating great food with all of your kids…

We know that they will have a great time too! If you pick up your child(ren) after their Sticky Fingers Class on Mondays, please come on in and meet them early in the art room. If you are lucky, you may get to sample some leftovers… yum!

Please note that we will ALWAYS accommodate any and all allergies and/or food issues. Sticky Fingers Cooking is always nut free. We want all kids to be able to cook {and eat!} in all of their Sticky Fingers Cooking class.

We have DAIRY (butter is OK) and GLUTEN food allergies in this class. We will not cook with these ingredients in class.

If you do not see your child’s food allergy above, please email us directly.

We have attached a brief summary of our philosophy. We’d love it if you were able to use some of the same phrases and ideas at home that we do in class – and we know you and your young chefs will love repeating the recipes!  Please look for our down-loadable and printer friendly recipes on our website for some fun family cooking at home…

The recipe that they will make today (and all of our recipes) will be on our website this weekend at:

WARNING: Your little chef may want boss you around in the kitchen now since they will be the experts! Humor them!

Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any questions.
Thank you, and we look forward to cooking up some fun together this fall!
