Dear Parents,If you have a desire to help our school and would be interested in learning more about grant writing, please read on. The Parent Leader Action Network for Adams12 is holding a grant writing session on November 1st. We would love to have a parent or two from our school attend and learn how to help our school acquire funds through grants. This meeting is not just for PTO leaders or board members. Feel free to invite your friends, other leaders, curious parents, etc. Please send your RSVP to the PLAN group below, and let our PTO president, Jonathan Baurer know that you are interested and plan to attend.

She is the owner of Granting Growth, an organization built to help education leaders with financial grant writing, and is coming to work with you for free! She’ll give a mini presentation on grant writing to help you understand how you may be able to help your parent group in the future.
Our next PTO meeting is tonight, October 10th at 6pm in the school library. We’ll be discussing the Griffin Gallop, Fall Festival and more. All parents are invited to join and give their input. Click here to sign up to volunteer at the Fall Festival.
Our next Studio School Spirit Night will be October 5th at Godfather’s Pizza! If you mention the Studio School Spirit night when you order, Godfather’s will donate 20% of your purchase right back to the school. Drop in anytime between 1:15 and 10pm on Wednesday, October 5th. No time to eat in? Carryout is great too!

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 21, 2016 for our Spirit afternoon/evening at Menchies Frozen Yogurt! Menchies will be donating 20% of our purchases between 1:30-7pm back to our group! This is a great opportunity for families to grab a treat on the way home from early release Wednesday or to even get some dessert after supper. Be sure to bring in a copy of this flier menchies-sept-21-2 or let them know you are with the Studio School so that we will get credit.
Menchies is on the NW corner of 120th Ave and Huron. See you there!
If you would like to donate for the Griffin Gallop online, please be sure to enter the student you are sponsoring and their teacher’s name along with your donation. We want to give your student credit so that they will be eligible for prizes! Donations without a student and teacher name cannot be counted towards the student and classroom totals.
Under “Teacher and Student Names” type the name of the student and their teacher’s name. Or if you are on a mobile device, select “Send a note to seller” and enter the student and teacher name.
This is very important so that classrooms and students will be eligible for prizes.
Donations are due by October 2nd. We appreciate your support!!
If you would prefer to donate in cash or check, please give to the student you are sponsoring. Students, turn in cash and check donations with pledge forms to the front office.
PTO meetings are a great way t0 find out about what is going on at our school. Our principal gives an update every month, and we discuss all kinds of issues of interest to parents. Join us for the next PTO meeting on September 12th. Our main focus this month will be on the upcoming Griffin Gallop. All parents and teachers are welcome to bring their questions and input. The PTO meets the second Monday of every month.
